I've been hooked up! I can hear with my CI! And...everything, I mean EVERYTHING sounds like Tweety Bird! Dog barking? Tweety Bird. 6ft 4in ex-football player? Tweety Bird. Race car with tricked out engine and glass pipes?? Tweety Bird! šššš That's the hilarious part. The part that isn't so hilarious? Tweety Bird needs to be shot if he talks a bit overmuch. šš³š³š¤Ŗ Audiologist assures me that this will pass as my brain gets accustomed to the new input. As is, it's causing me quite the headache...

All sorts of itty bitty geeky things I can do in there. But that'll have to wait. Work beckons and I've a monster headache to manage (which is not uncommon for initial hookup), and sounds to identify (there's something clicking rhythmically somewhere in this freakin' house and I don't yet know what it is or what direction it's coming from...I just know it isn't the dog!).
More later as I come across things that may interest folks. (he says as he listens to what he thinks is an airplane fly overhead with Tweety Bird sounds. š³š³ššš
